On July 26, representatives from Global MOOC and Online Education Alliance Secretariat and Peking University Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore to engage in a series of in-depth dialogues focused on the latest advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and online education. This visit underscored the commitment of alliance members to foster collaboration and share innovative practices in digital education.
The delegation was warmly received by NTU representatives led by Professor Gan Chee Lip, Associate Provost of NTU. Representatives from NTU shared latest advancements and policies from multiple functional units covering teaching and learning, curriculum design, infrastructure, and more; Mr. Wang Shuaiguo, Director of Tsinghua University Online Education Center and Secretary General of GMA, and Professor Sun Hua, Director of Peking University’s Center for Excellent Teaching and Learning and a member of the GMA Executive Committee, then shared progress with AI-empowered projects and practices respectively. Attendees engaged in highly collaborative and stimulating discussions.
